The SRL-49 meter is designed for measuring standard current or voltage signals. The reading is shown simultaneously on a four-digit LED display and a 20-point, two-colour bargraph covering the full measuring range. A wide range of characteristic curves (linear, square root, quadratic, user-defined and volume characteristic for cylindrical tanks) allows the meter to be used in many process control systems.

The 24 Vdc/100 mA output is designed to supply measuring transducers, and the RS-485 port enables data transmission to process monitoring systems. The relay or OC control outputs are controlled according to one or two threshold values, and the meter can be equipped with an analogue output (active current, passive isolated current or active voltage). The meter can be configured with the local keyboard or free S-Config software via the RS-485 communication port.

Typical Application Areas:

Vertical panel-mounted process indicator and controller for 4-20 mA or 0-10 V transmitters, where the bargraph gives an at-a-glance view of level, pressure, flow or temperature. Typical uses include tank level indication (including volume of cylindrical tanks), pump control and alarm switching, and signal retransmission to PLC or SCADA systems.
