The SRP-N118 meter is designed for measuring typical current or voltage signals from industrial field instruments for process monitoring and control. The readouts are presented on well-readable display with four digits as standard but also available with up to 6 digits.

Thanks to the tight housing with high (IP 67) protection degree, this device is well suited for applications in harsh environments. With a wide range of characteristic curves (linear, square root, quadratic, user-defined and volume characteristic for cylindrical tanks) the SRP-N118 is well suited to complex applications with non-linear outputs.

A 24V DC (100 mA) output supply is included to provide power to the sensor. A Modbus/RS-485 port enables data transmission (read/write) in production processes or for remote monitoring systems. The REL/OC outputs can provide control and/or alarm functions. The meter can include analogue outputs in the form of: active current output, passive isolated current output or active voltage output.

The meter is configured through push buttons on the front, under the cover but can also be configured without opening the cover by using the SIR-25 IR Remote Control accessory. The meter can also be configured through a PC via the RS-485 communication port with the free S-Config software.

Typical Application Areas:

Local display for field instruments that have analogue signals of Current (0/4-20mA) or Voltage (0-5/1-5/0-10/2-10 V) such as level, pressure, temperature, flowrate, weight and water quality such as turbidity, dissolved oxygen, free chlorine etc. More commonly used for process control using its available outputs of 4-20mA and Relays to provide control and alarm functions.
