Emteq ST02 Temperature Transmitter with PT100/PT1000 sensing element and 4–20 mA, voltage or RS485 output, in a compact field-mount configuration. The ST02, supplied by Emteq Sensors, uses a PT100 or PT1000 resistance temperature sensor as its sensing element, with the signal amplified into standard process outputs. A linear correction circuit is applied within the transmitter to ensure excellent accuracy across the full measuring range. With multiple process connections and probe lengths available, the ST02 is well suited to both liquid and gas temperature measurement, offering easy maintenance-free mounting, quick response and excellent long-term stability.

Sensor and Measuring Range
The ST02 uses a PT100 or PT1000 platinum resistance sensor and covers a standard measuring range of −40 to +500°C. The actual measured range is specified at order to suit the application. Accuracy is 0.5% of full scale, with a fast thermal response of 2.3 seconds to 63% of a step change and 5.4 seconds to 90%.

Output Options
Multiple output signals are available to suit the receiving instrument or control system: 4–20 mA, 0–5 V, 0–10 V or RS485 digital output. This flexibility allows the ST02 to interface directly with PLCs, indicators, recorders and process controllers.

Probe and Process Connection
The transmitter’s insertion probe, is stocked with 6mm diameter and 20mm length and is available in other customised lengths. Probe diameters of 6 mm, 8 mm, 10 mm or 12 mm can be specified. Wetted parts are manufactured in SS304 or SS316L stainless steel, and process connections are available in G1/4″ or G1/2″ male thread.

Housing and Environment
The ST02 is rated IP65 for protection against dust and water ingress, with a working ambient temperature range of −40 to +85°C, suiting it to demanding industrial environments.
