The SRT-73 is a compact panel-mounted temperature meter in a 72 × 36 mm case. It is available with one resistance-thermometer input (Pt100, Pt500 or Pt1000, with automatic recognition of 3- and 4-wire connection) or one thermocouple input for type K, S, J, T, N, R, B and E sensors, with fully linearised characteristics and automatic cold-junction compensation. The thermocouple version also has an additional −10 to +90 mV range, mainly for diagnosing measurement circuits.

The temperature is shown on a four-digit, two-coloured (red-green) LED display. Up to two relay or OC outputs can be controlled from one or two threshold values for alarm or simple on/off control, a 24 Vdc / 100 mA output is provided to power transmitters, and the RS-485 Modbus RTU port allows the reading to be sent to process monitoring systems. The meter is configured from the front keypad or with the free S-Config software via the RS-485 port.

Typical Application Areas:

Panel-mounted temperature indication and alarm / on-off control for process plant, HVAC and refrigeration, ovens, dryers, heat-treatment equipment, machinery and test benches. Typical uses include displaying a Pt100 or thermocouple temperature on a control panel with high / low alarm relays, and sending the reading to a PLC or SCADA system via Modbus RTU.
