The Sequencer controls the operation of two pumps under the Duty/Stand-By functionality. Level switches can be used for level control in a tank (filling or emptying) or pressure switches to control the pressure in a water circuit such as for irrigation etc. Two switches are used, the first for primary control and the second for backup.

The first, primary control switch alternates between pumps to maintain level or pressure. If the set point is unmet and the second switch is activated, then both pumps will be set to run, overcoming a problem with the current pump.

There is a third switch input which can be connected to a low-level switch to provide an interlock to stop the pumps in the event of a loss of level in the supply water tank. Details are provided in the datasheet available through the link above.

The Sequencer is available in two version, 110/240 Vac or 24 Vac and is a DIN Rail mounted device intended to be installed in an enclosure.
