The FineTek SE rotary paddle level switches are designed to detect the presence of solid or powdery material in tanks, bins and containers. During normal operation a synchronous motor rotates the paddle at 1 RPM. When paddle rotation is impeded by surrounding material, the motor stalls and causes the micro-switch to change state, triggering an alarm or control output.

The SE110 is the most common configuration with thread connection, horizontal-mount model in the range. It features an airtight sealed housing suitable for outdoor and strenuous environments, and a rugged sealing ring that prevents dust from infiltrating the housing along the shaft. The torque spring is adjustable to suit different material densities and specific gravities. A wide variety of paddles is available to suit different application requirements.
