Plastic float level switches for side mounting in a tank or container. Based on an internal reed sensor activated by a magnet inside the float. The FineTek plastic, side mounted (horizontal) mini float level switches are stocked in the following configurations:

 

FCH1: in PP, through hole mounting ½” (12-14mm).

 

 

FCH2: in PP and PVDF, through hole mounting with versions for internal or external mounting. Hole diameter 21mm for external mounting and 16mm for internal mounting.

 

 

FCH3: in PP and Polysulfone, external thread mounting ½” G.

 

 

FCH5: in PP, external thread mounting ½” PT (G) with dual thread. Option with terminal enclosure instead of flying leads.

Typical Application Areas:

Due to good chemical resistance these level switches are well suited to many chemicals as well as water. Used in small tanks and containers as high and low level switches for control or alarm purposes.
