DBL-205 adjustable differential pressure switches are for air and other non-combustible, non-aggressive gases. The DBL-205 series, produced by Industrie Technik, monitors overpressure, vacuum and differential pressure in air handling systems. The switch compares the pressure at the high pressure inlet (P1) against the pressure at the low pressure inlet (P2), and the contact changes state once the differential exceeds the setpoint. When supervising a fan, you can leave the P2 connection open to atmospheric pressure. The compact design offers excellent long-term stability, handles differential pressures up to 5 kPa, and operates at temperatures down to -20 °C.
Adjustable Setpoint
A scaled adjustment knob sets the switching pressure directly, so you need no separate pressure gauge. The knob sits under the lid, and the setpoint value stays visible through the lid during operation. A single screw secures the lid, which simplifies both mounting and service. The factory presets the hysteresis before delivery.
Connection and Wiring
The switch provides a single-pole changeover contact: terminal 3 is common (COM), terminal 2 is normally open (NO), and terminal 1 is normally closed (NC). Three internal flat plug connectors (6.3 x 0.8 mm, DIN 46244) sit under the plastic cover, and three push-on screw terminals ship with the unit for easy connection. A cable gland with strain relief secures the cable entry. Pressure connection uses connection pipes for 6 mm tube, with P1 (+) taking the higher pressure and P2 (-) the lower.
Protection and Certification
The switch is stocked in the standard configuration of IP54 protection, CE certified and contact rating of 1.5 (0.4) A at 250 V AC.
Delivery time for non-stocked configurations is typically 4-6 weeks.
