DPD Powder Pops® are individually packaged doses of DPD reagent for free chlorine testing in 5 ml water samples.
HF scientific DPD Powder Pops® deliver a measured amount of DPD reagent into the test sample. Each dose is sealed in its own small tube, so every test gets the same amount of fresh reagent with no measuring, spillage or waste. The HF-10300 is the free chlorine formulation for a 5 ml sample and is suitable for HF scientific photometers and photometers from other manufacturers.
Individually Packaged Doses
Each Powder Pop® holds a single pre-measured dose of DPD powder. The operator opens a tube and adds the contents to the sample. Because the reagent is sealed until it is used, it stays protected from moisture and air between tests, and results stay consistent from one test to the next.
Convenient Bulk Packaging
Powder Pops® are supplied in resealable foil pouches, so a stock of reagent is easy to store and carry for field or laboratory testing.
Matched to Your Sample Size
The HF-10300 is formulated for 5 ml samples. Powder Pops® are also available in 10 ml and 25 ml formulations, and in Total Chlorine versions, to suit the sample cell of the photometer in use. For high-volume testing, the HF scientific PPD-2 DPD Powder Pop® Dispenser is also available. It doses DPD reagent with a push of a button, straight from a disposable dispenser.
We stock the Powder Pops for 5ml samples in pack quantities of 200 or 50 for free chlorine. Delivery time for non-stocked configurations is typically 4-6 weeks.
